Site Manager
Needed onsite in Oklahoma
Pay range from $120,000-$150,000 depending upon experience with additional per diem and travel expenses.
We are looking for a Site Manager with strong understanding of how to run a site and manage people to join our team.
The Site Manager will be on the site of the work continually during its progress. The Site Manager shall direct the work specified, shall be present at the site during erection and shall be responsible for providing complete and correct direction of installation work, the initial starting, and subsequent operation of the equipment until the field tests are completed. The Superintendent is responsible for following safety procedures. The Site Manager shall initiate instructions for actions to inspect, handle, assemble and test the equipment.
- Hiring and managing site labor and site subcontractors
- Responsible for managing the labor hours allocated to the project.
- Responsible for managing site costs and inventories.
- Primary contact to union dispatcher when applicable.
- Managing supervision team.
- Managing site schedule and providing feedback to the project manager/scheduler as required.
- Management of health, safety and environmental matters.
- Preparation of site logs using provided tools and procedures.
- Conduct daily “toolbox” meetings.
- Completion of punch-list items.
- Manage customer relations on site.
- Manage claims and change orders; Maintain documentation of site conditions.
- Adherence to customer / internal requirements as related to the work site.
- Assist in controlling project costs, cost recovery (claims), administration and project execution.
- Report to in-office project managers the status of projects.
- Report to manager all problems and actions that need resolution.
- Responsibility of periodic reporting.

- The Site Manager shall have been engaged in similar turbine and generator field work for a minimum of 5 years
- Experience working on large, complex construction projects.
- Proven experience with steel structures, welding, and masonry.
- Solid knowledge of OSHA regulations, quality plans and procedures, and general construction practices.
- Proven leadership skills, effective communicator, and adept in maintaining client relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and standard office equipment.
- Experience in claims management is a plus.
- OSHA 30 and OSHA 10 Certification.
- Contractors Construction Quality Management course Certification from Naval Facilities Engineering Command or Army Corps of Engineers.
- Knowledge in OSHA and ISO Standards
- Able to read engineering drawings and procedures
- Ability to read and understand contract requirements
- Ability to identify non-conformances and organize the work
- Use of LMS, QCS and other Site related Software.
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Must be willing to travel and live extended periods of time in distant locations.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
